What is Brain in Hand coaching

Brain in Hand coaching is ongoing, one-to-one support that combines your own coach with simple tools on your phone that you can use day to day - like having a coach in your pocket.

It helps you stay on track, manage anxiety, and reflect on your progress. It’s a space to stay motivated, set goals, and find solutions to everyday challenges.

Coaching at Brain in Hand

Since 2023, our team has delivered over 36,000 hours of one-to-one coaching, building deep expertise and making us a leader in the field.

  • Our Brain in Hand coaches specialise in working with neurodivergent people (autistic, ADHD, anxiety, and more).
  • All coaches are minimum ILM Level 3 certified and aligned with ICF or EMCC standards.

What makes our coaching different?

A blend of people and technology

Our coaching combines skilled human support with robust digital tools. This means insight from coaching sessions turns into real-world action, supported by reminders, structure, and in-the-moment strategies.

Designed for neurodivergent people

Our coaches specialise in supporting autistic people, people with ADHD, anxiety, and related experiences. Support is neuroaffirming, strength-based, and grounded in lived experience.

Support that continues beyond sessions

Progress doesn’t stop when a session ends. Brain in Hand tools help maintain momentum, reduce cognitive load, and support self-regulation throughout daily life - 24/7.

Consistent and measurable progress

A shared framework ensures consistency and quality, while regular reflection helps users notice what’s working and build sustainable change over time.

What progress looks like over time

Many users report positive impact within the first 12 weeks, including:

  • Reduced anxiety and overwhelm
  • Improved task initiation and follow-through
  • Stronger routines and self-awareness
  • Greater confidence and independence

Your coaching journey

Everyone’s journey is different, but the example below illustrates how Brain in Hand coaching can support meaningful, real-life change over time.

Case Study: Addie’s Coaching Journey

  • Addie explored key challenges and set meaningful goals. Rest was reframed as a form of regulation, and Brain in Hand tools were introduced to support task prompts and routine planning.
