About the research

What difference does coaching really make? This report explores the impact of Brain in Hand’s neuroaffirmative coaching through the voices of the people who use it. Drawing on over 300 pieces of user feedback collected between October 2024 and January 2026, it highlights how coaching helps individuals turn reflection into practical action in their everyday lives.

Findings

Users describe coaching as a space to develop personalised solutions, build confidence, and feel genuinely understood. Working collaboratively with ILM-accredited coaches, individuals identify challenges, set meaningful goals, and create strategies that are embedded into their Brain in Hand digital support system.

The findings show that coaching supports people across many areas of life, from managing studies and work to building routines, navigating stressful situations, and developing greater self-understanding. Over time, this process helps users grow in confidence, independence, and their ability to manage everyday challenges.
